Sheriff's Office Investigations The Investigations Division is comprised of a specialized group of deputy sheriffs who are responsible for investigating crimes which occur within Minnehaha County. Operate in a cost effective manner, without compromising the safety and security of staff, inmates, and visitors. These crimes include, but are not limited to, sexual assault, aggravated assault, burglary, child abuse, theft, missing persons, and death investigations.
