Harry potter fanfiction harry hates lily and james. However, it's done so badly, so often, that I felt the need to give it a shot. The purpose of this story is to make a story with all the angst that comes with an angry Harry and guilty Lily & James, without all the nonsense that always seems to come with it. When Lily saw James on the Hogwarts Express to start seventh year, she knew he'd changed, and although she tries to deny it, she finds herself falling for the more mature head boy James. No one knows why, or how, but they're saying that when he couldn't kill Harry Potter, Voldemort's power somehow broke — and that's why he's gone. All he could think about was his wife and twins, Harry and Daniel. No Deus ex Lily planted herself firmly between her father and raving brother. I: I don't claim that this story is entirely novel, I know the Potters abandoning Harry has become a trope. He climbed up the stairs and opened the nursery door to find an unconscious Lily and two wailing babies. I demanded of him how he could have betrayed us this way, betrayed his family, his friends who loved and protected him and he cowered away from me, used the Sonorous Charm on himself and bellowed to the entire street that I had betrayed James and Lily Potter and that I was the reason they were dead.
